These bad boys as show above are easy to make look amazing and taste good. Adding a crisp crunch to a dish and the sweet onion flavour aswell.
So to make these bad boys you start by making a simple syrup so equal parts sugar and water, so for this example we will use 50g of water and 50gs of sugar, and boil it till a soft boil.
When that’s boiling away get a pickling onion or a normal onion and peel it whole, then thinly slice it, these will be dipped in syrup, then place on glad paper and put in the over at 90 degrees Celsius for 4 hours. and they are delicious, add them to salads or your meat dish! Enjoy!
